The PetGeez website can be accessed at https://www.petgeez.co.za on PC, mobile or any other web browser and is owned and operated by PetGeez (Pty) Ltd (‘We’, ‘ Us’, ‘Our’ or ‘PetGeez’) and is part of the ‘West Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd Group of companies and initiatives.
PetGeez Returns and Exchange (“Returns Policy”) govern the ordering, sale and delivery of Goods, and include the use of the PetGeez Website and is binding and enforceable against every person accessing, using or registering our Website (‘user’, ‘you’, ‘your’ or ‘registered user’), including by clicking on the “Register Now” button on the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, agreed and bound by these Returns Policy.
Our shop online gives access to an extensive range of pet-related products, food, toys and supplies, and more (“Goods”), therefore PetGeez allow third-party suppliers to list and sell their goods on our Website. (‘Third Party Vendor’). Certain Terms and Conditions will only apply to purchases from Third Party Vendors, and some apply specifically to PetGeez. This will be made clear in the relevant clause.
PetGeez Returns Policy applies to users who are consumers as stipulated in the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (the “CPA”) and may limit the risk, liability or even indemnify PetGeez or any third party by the user and/or may create risk or liability for the user and/or serves as an acknowledgement, by the user, of a fact.
If there is any provision in these Returns Policy that you do not understand, it is your responsibility to PetGeez for an explanation before accepting these Terms and Conditions and continuing using the Website.
Nothing in PetGeez Terms and Conditions is intended to be unlawfully restricted, limiting or avoid any consumer right or obligation in terms of the CPA.
By using our Website you deemed to have accepted all the Terms and Conditions unconditionally. Refrain from using the PerGeez Website if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or Returns and Exchange Policy.
Please note: due to COVID-19, if you made a purchase between February 13th, 2020 and May 31st, 2020 we have extended the returns window to August 1st, 2020 for these items.

Note: All information on this page only relates to items bought from or fulfilled by PetGeez. Don’t return items to PetGeez that were bought on any other platform or that was shipped to you directly by an approved PetGeez Vendor.
What can I return?
Our return policy is simple – if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it! PetGeez will accept returns within 30 days of your purchase or from the initial shipment date for online purchases. You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by PetGeez within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Exchange an Item
PetGeez does not offer any exchange of goods, however, an exchange can be handled by a supplier or vendor. Supplier or Vendor exchange will be determined in there respected exchange and return policies.
If the item doesn’t have an exchange option or you received the item as a gift, you’ll need to return the original new and unopened item and place a new order.
If a supplier accepts the exchange and the exchange is handled by PetGeez, and if the item you’re exchanging costs less than your original purchase, we’ll refund you the difference. If the new item costs more, we’ll charge you for the difference in price.
Note: No exchanges will be accepted for any items on promotion or discounted for any reason.
Exchange and Return Shipping
You can return your package using a label from Your Orders.
Return Shipping Costs for South Africa
When you choose the shipping method for your return, return fees are calculated. Delivery addresses in the Cape Town are eligible for Free Returns.
If you return an item using a paid method, we’ll deduct the cost of return shipping and restocking fees from your refund.
If you choose to ship the item on your own, you’ll pay the carrier when you ship your return. If the return is the result of a PetGeez error, we’ll refund your return shipping costs up to a maximum amount.

What items are eligible for a FREE returns option?
PetGeez offers free returns on most items delivered to an address in Cape Town, South Africa. Look for “Free Returns” next to the price to confirm that the item qualifies for free returns.
How do FREE Returns work?
All return-eligible items, weighing under 5kg and sold by PetGeez, have at least one free return option. You can return the item for any reason in a new and unused condition for up to 30 days after purchase.
How does label-free, box free returns work?
Don’t worry about printing a label or packing up your item. Just go to Your Orders and select the item you wish to return. Tell us why you want to return this item, then choose a pickup location that supports label-free, box-free returns.
When will I get my refund?
Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive, checked and process your return.
When you return an item, your refund amount and refund method may vary. You can check the payment method that was refunded and the status of your refund in Your Orders or the terms will be communicated via email.

Note: After the carrier has received your item, it can take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your return.
How Refunds Are Issued
When returning an item, your refund will be directly related to the payment method used to make the purchase. We will only refund to the original card or account used for the purchase.
If you’re receiving a refund after we have received your item, it may take an additional three to five business days to process your return fully and issue your refund.
Once we issue your refund, it may take additional time for your funds to be made available in your account by your financial institution. See the following table for more details.

Gift Card Refunds
The type of refund or credit you receive depends on how the gift was purchased and how it was returned. A refund can only be authorized if the Gift Card has not been used and the refund stays conditional to PetGeez’s discretion.
PetGeez may determine that a refund can be issued without requiring a return. If you aren’t required to mail your item back for a refund, you’ll be notified via email or by a customer service associate.

*For most items, the return window is 30 days after delivery. To check the return window for an item you’ve ordered, go to Your Orders. If your item was fulfilled by a third-party seller, you may be charged up to 20% restocking fee, even if you return the item in original condition within the return window.
Note: Tax on restocking fees may apply to return items that were shipped and sold by PetGeez.co.za for Vendors. Some products have additional conditions that may apply.
