If you are the caretaker of a cat, you’ll know how fussy they can be about litter boxes, and again, I can only speak from personal experience.
I used a regular clay brand in my cattery (not a house brand, because that was even worse when I once had to use it in an emergency), and used 45 to 50 10kg bags per month.
It does not absorb wetness, nor does it absorb the smell. My litter box life changed when I was introduced to Cats Best.
